The collection consists of 18 boxes of correspondence, photos, promotional materials, and sound recordings from the career of Adam Makowicz, spanning the early 1970s through 2009.

Allen and Madeleine Forte Memorial Collection
The collection consists of 27 boxes of writings, sketches, analyses, and other personal and unpublished papers, along with some photos and videocassettes from the career of music theorist and educator Allen Forte. An additional donation in the summer of 2015 added two boxes of sound and video recordings from Madeleine Forte, as well as Allen Forte's doctoral cap, gown, and hood for the honorary doctorate he received from Eastman School of Music in 1978.
Andrew S. Pope Collection
The collection consists of 17 boxes of framed photographs, lithographs, performance programs, autographs, letters, and other memorabilia from major international opera performers, with a particular emphasis on performers of the late nineteenth century.
Anna Harriet Heyer Collection
The collection consists of 27 boxes of materials concerned with Miss Heyer's career, research, publications, and personal hobbies, as well as historical materials related to the development of the UNT Music Library.

The collection consists of two boxes of correspondence and papers that once belonged to Arnold Schoenberg's cousin Hans Nachod. It includes many letters from Schoenberg to Nachod, and a few from Nachod to Schoenberg, as well as a number of music manuscripts in Schoenberg's hand, among which are early songs and arrangements.
Art Dedrick Collection
The collection consists of four boxes of Dedrick's compositions and arrangements over the course of his career. Most are autograph scores in pencil, with a few published materials, and a handful of works by other arrangers.

Blue Amberol Cylinders
The collection consists of approximately 180 audio cylinders from Thomas Edison's Blue Amberol line, published from 1912 through 1929. Popular songs (1500-5719) are especially well represented, along with almost the entire "Bohemian" series (9850-9867).
Bob McGrath Collection
The collection consists of 24 boxes of McGrath's band and symphonic compositions from his career with Mitch Miller, as a pop star in Japan, as a main character on Sesame Street, and as a performer in the U.S.
Booton Herndon Collection
The collection consists of six boxes of materials related to Herndon's 1964 book The Sweetest Music This Side of Heaven: The Guy Lombardo Story, including extensive typed transcripts of interviews with Guy, Lebert, and Carmen Lombardo, and others, along with drafts of the book up to the published version.
Boyce Ditto Public Library Broadcast Transcription Recordings
The collection consists of four boxes, which contain a total of fifty-seven 16-inch broadcast transcription discs from the Mineral Wells area. Most of the programs were sponsored by the Crazy Water Company, and there are multiple copies of most programs in the collection.
